Professor Seth Kunin has extensive experience in the international domain, having led the University of Aberdeen’s very successful international strategy for two years which included overseeing the development of a campus in South Korea and establishing significant collaborations with overseas universities, organisations and governments. A prominent anthropologist, Professor Kunin attained his BA from Columbia University in New York and his PhD in Anthropology from the University of Cambridge in the UK. His research focused on the application of structuralist theory and methodology to Jewish texts and culture. Professor Kunin was vice principal of Internationalisation at the University of Aberdeen. Prior to that, he was pro vice-chancellor (Arts and Humanities) and executive dean (Arts and Humanities) of Durham University.
