Scott Mathewson

Scott Mathewson has over 25 years of experience in senior operational, technical and leadership roles within the metals, mining and mineral processing sectors; with a focus on operations, mining, process engineering and business improvement. Prior to joining Golden Deeps, Mr Mathewson was the executive general manager of global mining and production for an international mineral sands producer where he was responsible for all mining & production operations, and the development of future growth and expansion opportunities. He was also a technical director within the corporate finance sector, responsible for raising capital for new mining operations in Australia and Internationally. Across his career, Mr Mathewson had also held senior positions with Rio Tinto, Alcoa World Alumina and Atlantic Vanadium. He holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from Curtin University, an MBA from the University of Southern Queensland where he majored in OHS and Corporate Finance, and an Unrestricted WA Quarry Manager Certification.
