Sandy McEwan is the owner and director of Western Mulga, a 100% Aboriginal-owned environmental management business, and a director of Keogh Bay.
Mr McEwan is a Banyjima person from the Pilbara region of Western Australia with a range of mining, horticulture, land management and training qualifications.
He is a graduate of Rio Tinto’s successful Aboriginal Training and Liaison group, and worked in a wide variety of roles in Rio Tinto including the recruitment of Indigenous employees from the mid-west region.
Mr McEwan is a renowned facilitator with extensive experience in delivering award winning training programs for Aboriginal participants in Meekatharra. He held a range of mentoring and employee support roles in mining, government and VET sectors.
