Ruth Rosedale has been a partner in King & Wood Mallesons employee relations & safety team, where she specialises in all areas of workplace relations and employment law. She represents clients in a wide range of industries including mining, agribusiness, manufacturing, food and beverages and financial services.
Ms Rosedale has significant in-house experience as a senior lawyer at well-known Australian financial institutions, and provides advice to a national and international client base having worked in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth throughout her career. She advises on global business sale and purchase arrangements on employee-related issues and integration, executive termination and remuneration, the application of industrial awards and agreements, workplace compliance reviews and regulator interaction, strategic industrial relations advice (including disputes and enterprise bargaining), employment related grievances, and disputes and litigation (including unfair dismissal, general protections, discrimination and harassment).
Ms Rosedale also guides clients through workplace investigations into allegations of breach of employment obligations, whistle blower complaints, bullying and harassment.
She has been named as a Rising Star in 2020, 2021, and 2022 by The Legal 500, Asia Pacific, Australia in the area of Labour & Employment.
