Russell Barnett has over 16 years experience in technology commercialisation, innovation management, new venture creation and venture capital markets with a wide range of organisations throughout the Asia Pacific region.
Mr Barnett is the chair of the GB Energy, a partner in Australian Venture Consultants, and Senate Member of Murdoch University.
In 2003, Mr Barnett won a Business News 40under40 Award.
In 2025, Mr Barnett was appointed chair of the Western Australian Building and Construction Consultative Committee which provides policy advice to the Minister for Industrial Relations relating to the Western Australian commercial construction industry, and was established in 2022.
