Ross Mahon is a highly experienced manufacturing and engineering professional with over 30 years of experience in the global automotive industry. Prior to joining Quickstep in January 2017, Mr Mahon was based in China for 6 years, with the most recent role as Futuris' chief operating officer of Asia Pacific, with revenues in excess of $300 million and 3,000 direct reports. Since starting his career with Ford, Mr Mahon has worked in diverse roles including manufacturing, purchasing engineering, business development and general management with companies including Venture Industries, Plexicor and Futuris. He has played a key role in the conquest and winning of new customer contracts in USA, China, Thailand and Australia including the introduction and commercialisation of new technology. Mr Mahon has significant experience in M&A, strategic partnerships, technology agreements and establishing and operating joint ventures. The experience in Asia has also included the establishment and operation of several greenfield sites. Mr Mahon has completed a number of postgraduate studies including a Masters of Business Administration from RMIT.
