Dr Roslyn Carbon trained as a medical practitioner and worked in the psychiatry unit at Fremantle Hospital as junior doctor in the 1980s. She has a medical practice centred around assisting young adults with the challenges of a sporting career. Dr Carbon has wide ranging experience in mental health, drug and alcohol. In her role as director of health at the Department of Corrective Services, she received a Commissioners Commendation, was awarded the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) Award for Population Health, and was commended in the 2013 review of Mental Health Services in WA.
Dr Carbon is a Combat Sports Commissioner and serves on the board of Healthway.
