Dr Rod McEachern has significant potash experience specifically related to mining, production, harvesting, process engineering, logistics, environmental compliance, and safety.
In the two decades prior to joining Danakali as chief operating officer in December 2020, he held senior management roles including as director of process and product innovation at Canadian-based Nutrien; and a number of senior roles with PotashCorp including as senior director for innovation and general manager at the Allan facility. Dr McEachern was seconded to Arab Potash as vice president of operations in Amman Jordan, where he was responsible for all aspects of the potash facility including safe mill and solar pond production, transportation and logistics, innovation, automation, new product development, and environmental management.
