
Robert Sennitt has been involved in the resources sector in Australia for over thirty years, initially as an investment banker with JP Morgan, Macquarie Bank and RBC Capital Markets before becoming managing director and chief executive of Mineral Deposits prior to its takeover in July 2018. At Mineral Deposits, Mr Sennitt was a member of the executive committee that had responsibility for the management of the TiZir Mineral Sands Joint
Venture, comprising the Grande Cote mining operation in Senegal and the TTI smelting operation in Norway.
Mr Sennitt became managing director of Alicanto Minerals in September 2022. Prior to that, he was a senior advisor of resource-focused private equity firm Appian Capital Advisory, where he was responsible for sourcing investments and portfolio management in Australia and South East Asia.
