Robert McCauley is a registered surveyor, management consultant and strategic corporate adviser with over 35 years of experience in surveying, company management, finance, capital raising public company listing, land & building development, engineering, construction, project management & mining. He has been involved in infrastructure development of major mining & engineering projects with Worsley Alumina, Sir Alexander Gibb & Partners (UK), BHP and Boral including the Boddington Gold Mine WA, Monasavu Hydro Electric Scheme (World Bank project), Fiji and the North West Shelf Liquefied Natural Gas Project WA. As a consultant, Chartered MRICS & registered surveyor, Mr McCauley has extensive experience in land and building development in the Perth, Sydney & Canberra regions. He has been instrumental in the success of company capital raisings and IPOs and was engaged as a managing director and chair of ASX-listed companies. Mr McCauley is very familiar and has a good working knowledge of the ASX listing rules, corporate governance procedures, confidentiality and diversity protocols, and the Commonwealth Corporations Act 2001. He was nominated in 2011 as an industry representative on the ASX equity market review panel reporting to ASIC. He has completed the London Stock Exchange AIM listing course and has extensive contacts and expertise in the resource and finance sectors. Mr McCauley has expertise in media and marketing and has been interviewed by numerous leading media and financial networks including the ABC’s Stateline programs in 2010 and 2011; ABC’s Business Today in 2012 and Finance News Network in 2011. He is a graduate of Curtin University, member of the Surveying and Spatial Sciences Institute, member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and a Ministerial nominee for the Surveyors Board of the ACT.
