Robert Kaplan is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of operating experience in the African mining sector. Based in Africa, Mr Kaplan has a broad skillset in corporate finance as well as experience in mining operations in Angola, South Africa and Tanzania. He was finance manager of corporate and head of treasury at Petra Diamonds where he worked for over 13 years, prior to becoming chief financial officer & company secretary of Pensana Rare Earths in January 2020.
