Dr Rob Wilson AM has expertise and experience from a vast background in pork production.
He was general manager of George Weston Foods’ Wandalup Farms and held a number of agricultural industry appointments including as chair of Westpork from 2010 to 2020, president of the Royal Agricultural Society of WA, chair of Agricultural Shows Australia, chair of Curtin Health Innovation Research Institute, director of the Harvest Road Group and the Food Agility Cooperative Research Centre.
Dr Wilson holds a PhD in Animal Nutrition.
In 2007, he was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia for services to the pork industry through a range of research and producer organisations, contribution to business development and market expansion, and improved farm management practices to protect the environment.
