Ricus Grimbeek

Ricus Grimbeek was appointed chief technology officer of South32 in April 2017. Prior to this position, Mr Grimbeek was president and chief operating officer, Australia and oversaw the set-up of the Australia region for South32. His career has spanned numerous technical and operating roles across Africa, Australia, Canada and Colombia. In November 2011, Mr Grimbeek was appointed asset president of Worsley Alumina, having been head of Group HSEC at BHP Billiton from April 2009 to October 2011. He was also executive vice president of mining for Lonmin Platinum.
