Richard Maish is a highly experienced investment banking executive, with a strong background in the resources sector.
Mr Maish began a career with the National Australia Bank, progressing to an executive in the NSW structured & project finance division. He was then a founding member of CIBC Wood Gundy’s Australian presence and a director of its global mining group. Since 2012, Mr Maish has been an executive & chief financial officer of Australian Mineral & Waterwell Drilling (AMWD), a drilling services business that aligns itself strategically with its clients to partner on mineral exploration opportunities. He is also a founding shareholder and an executive & chief financial officer of Bacchus Resources which owns an advanced exploration and mining development project
in the Northern Territory, along with earlier stage exploration projects in NSW & QLD, and an interest in Indiana Resources where Mr Maish was subsequently appointed chief executive in October 2022.
Mr Maish holds a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Economics & Economic History, from the University of NSW.
