Rebecca Johnston

Prior to establishing Mason Ledger in 2020, Rebecca Johnston was the managing director and general counsel of KBE Legal Hub, managing partner of Legal 500 ranked law firm HodgkinsonJohnston, in-house counsel at Pilbara Ports Authority, as well as a lawyer in the aviation, transport & logistics team at Clayton Utz. Ms Johnston was recognised as Young Private Practice Lawyer of the Year at the 2018 Australasian Law Awards, and is ranked as a Leading Individual in Chambers and Partners Asia-Pacific 2019 and 2020. She is admitted to practice in Australia and New York, and is an adjunct lecturer in Aviation Law at the University of Notre Dame Australia. She holds Law (Honours) and Arts (Politics & International Relations) degrees at the University of Notre Dame Australia, and also studied in Washington DC while undertaking a congressional internship on Capitol Hill.
