Prasanna Suraweera

Prasanna Suraweera has been the sustainability section manager, Australian discipline leader, and director of community planner and designer at Stantec. Prior to that, Mr Suraweera spent over 15 years at Wood & Grieve Engineers where he started as a graduate mechanical engineer in May 2004. While building his mechanical experience, he found a passion for sustainable design and was one of the founding members of the WGE's sustainability team in Perth. In 2008, he was promoted to project engineer in the sustainability section, and subsequently took over the management of this section in 2009. He became a shareholder of the company in 2010, and ended his tenure in April 2019.
