Phil Thistlethwaite

Phil Thistlethwaite has extensive experience at board and executive levels; across cultures and geographies; and an international career in growing, building and developing local & global organisations.

In 2005 he co-founded The Birchman Group Asia Pacific, a professional service firm focused on delivering and supporting IT enabled business transformation. He became the global CEO where he grew the business to over 900 staff in 14 offices around the world. It was sold to ASX200 SMS Management and Technology in 2013. In November 2016, Mr Thistlethwaite co-founded and is a director of Maitha Group which focuses on helping clients drive corporate transformation & growth. In 2019, he joined the P&N Group in a consulting capacity and directed the Integration Program between P&N Bank and bcu during its post-November 2019 merger. He was subsequently appointed to the newly created role of chief transformation officer at P&N Bank in September 2020 before departing in September 2022.
