Peter Walton

Peter Walton has more than 30 years of experience as a litigation lawyer. He has acted for several significant entities across various industries including financial services, insurance, building and construction, professional services and the public sector. He has also acted in several disputes involving taxation, building and construction contracts, mining, consumer and competition, commercial contracts, corporations, leases, mortgages and securities, franchising agreements, joint ventures and partnerships. Mr Walton practised as a barrister for several years at the Victorian Bar, appearing regularly in the Supreme Court and County Court and tribunals including the Administrative Appeals Tribunal, conducting trials and appeals in a broad range of commercial disputes. He has conducted a number of trials in commercial and common law disputes, as well as appeals.
