Kairos defines new high-priority lithium targets

Kairos Minerals continues to generate highly-promising lithium targets at its 100 per cent-owned Roe Hills project in Western Australia's Eastern Goldfields region. The company's optimism has been boosted ahead of a planned initial 5000m of reverse-circulation drilling across its growing pipeline of targets in the rapidly-emerging lithium province that hosts Global Lithium Resources' renowned 32.7-million-tonne Manna lithium project.

Big gold resource boost for Kairos – with more to come

WA-focused explorer Kairos Minerals turbocharged the mineral resource of its Mt York gold project by 500,000 ounces to 49.24 million tonnes at 1.02 grams per tonne for 1.62 million ounces of gold. The company says its new numbers include a higher-grade component of 21 million tonnes at 1.5g/t for 1 million ounces and the mineralisation at its project remains open.

Kairos opens for trading on US market

WA-focused explorer Kairos Minerals has become a multi-listed trader after joining the United States' OTCQB venture market. The company started trading at market opening on April 6 under the ticker “KAIFF”. Created in 2010, the OTCQB is the middle tier of the over-the-counter market for US shares. The company says the move will provide exposure to US investors without impacting its ASX listing.

Kairos poised to drill after spotting major rare earths signs

Kairos Minerals is poised to drill-test a recently discovered 1km long light and heavy rare earths anomaly which has produced early results going up to 553 parts per million total rare earths oxide. The pending RC drilling program at its Roe Hills project, 100km east of Kalgoorlie also includes some tantalising results for neodymium and praseodymium reaching up to 126ppm, heavy rare earth oxides grading up to 154ppm and light rare earth oxides running up to 420ppm.

A million ounces of gold – and Kairos is still counting

Kairos Minerals is far from resting on its glittering gold laurels as the company zeros in on a boost to its existing 1.1-million-ounce resource at its flagship Mount York project in WA's Pilbara region. Management says it has landed wide hits including 82m at 0.57g/t gold from 104m, which contained 11m grading 1.25g/t from 135m and 17m running 1.03g/t gold from 169m.

Kairos to drill compelling lithium and gold soil anomalies

Kairos Minerals has vowed to expand its lithium, gold and base metal targets after confirming a “compelling” 2.8km-long lithium anomaly and a nearby 2.3km gold anomaly at its Roe Hills project near Kalgoorlie. The company sees the anomalies as high-priority targets for spodumene lithium-bearing pegmatites akin to Global Lithium's nearby Manna deposit containing 32.7 million tonnes at 1.0 per cent lithium oxide.

More gold for Kairos at Mount York

Kairos Minerals has extended mineralisation below its existing 1.1-million-ounce gold resource at the company's Mount York project in WA's Pilbara after landing hits including 10m at 4.9 g/t gold from 257m. Known mineralisation has now been stretched 85m below the existing planned open pit depths. The latest results offer potential for a resource upgrade and future underground mining in high-grade gold shoots within the 3km resource strike length.

Kairos set to grow Mount York gold resource

Kairos Minerals' flagship 1.1-million-ounce Mount York Pilbara gold project looks set for a serious growth spurt after high-grade gold intersections below the existing resource over much of the strike length paves the way for an increase. Best results include 5m at 4.25 g/t gold from 73m, 7m going 3.35 g/t from 172m and 8m at 3.67g/t gold from 185m. The Mount York project is located in the emerging Pilbara Craton gold region of WA.

Kairos maps out more lithium on prime WA real estate

Kairos Minerals has landed a slew of anomalous lithium-in-soil results nestled within an emerging pegmatite province 100km east of Kalgoorlie and in the shadow of Global Lithium's 32.7Mt Manna lithium deposit. The freshly minted “Crystal Palace” prospect has been etched out from the first batch of specimens from an extensive 6000-sample soil program the company is conducting over its Roe Hills tenure.

Significant new lithium soil anomalies for Kairos

Kairos Minerals has identified significant new lithium soil anomalies at its Roe Hills project in the Eastern Goldfields of WA. The lithium hits are near Kairos's 2.6km long Black Cat lithium soil anomaly where preparations for drilling are well advanced. The company says Black Cat appears to have the same geology as the nearby Manna deposit, 20 per cent of which sold for $60 million in October.

Pilbara soil samples fuel Kairos lithium, gold appetite

Kairos Minerals has uncovered several lithium targets and a new gold target from a swag of soil samples collected from its Pilbara tenements that have fuelled the company's appetite for an immediate follow-up. The gold target is 2.5km long, but it is lithium targets, based on elevated lithium and pathfinder elements and geology, that have Kairos eager for more exploratory work.

First up pegmatite hit for Kairos in Pilbara lithium hunt

Kairos Minerals has hit pegmatites in the first hole drilled at its Lucky Sump prospect where the company is hunting lithium with a 16-hole RC campaign near its Mt York gold project in the Pilbara region of WA. The initial hole intercepted a 5m pegmatite hit whilst an additional two holes also recorded pegmatite intervals between 2m and 3m.

Kairos Minerals is set to begin drilling at its Lucky Stump prospect where spodumene pegmatite samples grading up to 1.9 per cent lithium oxide were discovered near the company's Mt York project in the Pilbara. The 16-hole RC drilling campaign is planned to cover 2400m and target multiple spodumene pegmatites that form part of a larger swarm at Mt York only 4km south of Pilbara Minerals' Pilgangoora lithium-tantalum mine.

Kairos beefs up management

Mineral explorer Kairos Minerals has beefed up its management with Peter Turner to take the reins as Managing Director and Klaus Eckhof taking a seat as Non-Executive Chairman. The addition of the duo reflects the company's commitment to accelerating the exploration campaigns at its WA lithium and gold projects. Turner's appointment will be effective from May 23rd and Eckhof has already commenced his role.
