Peter Ruzicka is a geologist with over 20 years of experience in the mining industry, and a focus on greenfields exploration and resource development of near-mine areas. He also had extensive local and international experience.
Mr Ruzicka has had geographic exposure to gold and/or base metal deposits throughout Australia, Asia, Africa and the US. Within the Yilgarn Gold Province of Western Australia, his experience includes exposure to gold operations in Kalgoorlie, Southern Cross, Leonora, Laverton and Meekatharra.
Prior to becoming the general manager for exploration at Ramelius Resources, Mr Ruzicka was the general manager of geology & exploration at Norton Gold Fields where he led a successful team in Kalgoorlie to generate a substantial increase in gold resource and reserve, through exploration and resource development success, as well as acquisition. He was also the exploration manager of CopperCo, a leading member of a team responsible for large copper resource and reserve increases prior to mining startup at Mt Isa, Queensland; and held senior and managerial positions at Sons of Gwalia and Dominion Mining.
