Peter Banks

Peter Banks commenced his career in the finance industry with Commonwealth Bank. In 1970, he joined Western Underwriters as office manager and over the next 16 years, he expanded the company into the Eastern States and became general manager. In 1987, Mr Banks and Wayne Cooper commenced Banks & Cooper Insurance Brokers which later became Country Wide Insurance Brokers. After his retirement in 2010, he remained the company's non-executive director. Mr Banks is a member of the Company Directors Association (1984) and has a Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking).
