Penny Flett
Dr Penny Flett has worked in a variety of positions including serving with the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF). Settling in Australia in 1965, she became the first woman in peacetime to hold a male rank and the first woman doctor to serve in the RAAF in 1974. In 1998 she was named Telstra Business Woman of the Year, and in 2003 was awarded the Centenary Medal, and in 2008 WA's Australian of the Year. Since 1995, Dr Flett has been the CEO of Brightwater Care Group, one of the largest aged care providers in Western Australia.
