Dr Paul Stenson is the president & chief executive of StanChem Polymers, a manufacturer of emulsion polymers, adhesives and specialty coatings including fire retardants.

He has over 25 years of experience in polymer-related industries, and is a business and R&D leader with expertise in coatings, polymers and specialty chemicals with specific industry expertise in industrial, packaging, automotive coatings and specialty papers.

For nearly 18 years, Dr Stenson was the technology director of industrial coatings for Valspar Corporation in North America and was subsequently the vice president for global packaging in Europe.
