Paul Meadows holds Bachelor of Laws and Arts degrees from the University of Melbourne. Mr Meadows was admitted to practise as a barrister and solicitor in 1981 and was a partner of Allens Arthur Robinson in Melbourne from 1989 until February 2010. He worked at Linklaters in London in 1986 and 1987. He practised as a commercial litigator, principally in the areas of companies and securities, takeovers, banking, mining and resources, corporate governance, trade practices, contract and corporate insolvency laws. Mr Meadows is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, vice-president of the Scotch College Foundation Board of Directors and Director of the Melbourne University Law School Foundation Board. He is also a member of the International Bar Association and Australian Corporate Lawyers Association. Between 2006 and 2010 he was a senior adviser to UBS Australia.
