ASX-listed Radiopharm Theranostics will be showcasing the potential of one of its tumour-blasting products that targets the deadly pancreatic cancer at a key meeting of nuclear medicine experts in Spain next month. A lecture will be given at a session on new radiopharmaceutical trials and is a watershed moment in the partnership forged by Radiopharm and Germany-based nuclear medicine specialist TRIMT.

A nanobody with its origins in the camel family, that is now being used to fight cancer, is at the centre of two agreements inked by Melbourne-based company Radiopharm Theranostics. One deal is a collaboration agreement with US-based Lantheus – a US$5 billion NASDAQ-listed radiopharmaceutical company. The other is with UK company biotech NanoMab and gives Radiopharm important intellectual property rights in a cancer-fighting product.

Successful trials of one of its cancer killing technologies has given Chimeric Therapeutics the confidence to lock in a clinical platform deal that targets blood cancers and solid tumours. The company plans to convert the option it had over the Clinically validated, Off the shelf, Robust, Enhanced Natural Killer, or “CORE-NK” technology into an exclusive licence to develop multiple next- generation products.

Cancer fighting biotech, Radiopharm Theranostics has gained access to a rare medical isotope from a Bill Gates start-up to accelerate the development of its pipeline of cancer treatment therapies. The company says “actinium-225” is a radioactive isotype that can be attached to a targeting antibody that will then selectively target and destroy cancerous tissue.

Cancer fighting biotech, Radiopharm Theranostics has taken full ownership of the intellectual property rights of three cancer-fighting nanobodies that target a range of solid tumors including breast cancer. Radiopharm had held the licence to use the assets in its studies, however following the purchase, it now has exclusive world-wide use of the technology that is used in the diagnosis and treatment in a range of cancers.
