
Paul Devlin is a dual-qualified lawyer in Australia and New York, with a focus on white collar and investigations matters & civil litigation including complex multi-state class actions. He also has a background in disputes and investigations arising within the commodities sector, such as price and benchmark manipulation cases.
Mr Devlin has worked on complex structured trade finance matters. He has advised on matters spanning market manipulation, insider trading, accounting fraud, money laundering, foreign bribery, sanctions, offshore banking and class actions across the US, UK, Switzerland, Germany, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates.
Mr Devlin began his career in the WA State Solicitor’s Office, and after working at King & Wood Mallesons in Sydney, studied at Harvard Law School and was admitted to the New York Bar. He then worked at a range of US and global law firms, practising as a corporate M&A, structured finance and litigation lawyer. Mr Devlin returned to Perth in July 2023 and became a partner of Norton Rose Fulbright.
