Paul Armstrong

Public relation consultant Paul Armstrong is a former journalist and past editor of The West Australian newspaper. Mr Armstrong started his career as a cadet journalist and then as a business journalist with The West Australian newspaper. He worked for The Times of London as a senior business journalist and news editor and for The Evening Standard as a senior finance journalist before returning to Perth in 2003 when he was appointed as business editor of The West Australian before becoming editor of the newspaper, a position he held from 2003 to 2009.
Following his the end of his journalism career, he became a director of and shareholder of Read Corporate, an investor relations and corporate communications firm.
