Patricia Blake has experience working in the government sector including areas of consumer protection, retail, housing and policy.
She holds a Juris Doctor, Law from Murdoch University and his since attended Murdoch Law School as an Associate Lecturer.
Ms Blake's work in policy includes the implementation of the Residential Tenancies Legislation Amendment (Family Violence) Act 2019, amendments to the Residential Tenancies Act 1987 and the creation of the Residential Tenancies (COVID-19 Response) Act 2020.
Ms Blake stepped into the role of Commissioner for Consumer Protection at Department of Local Government, Industry Regulation and Safety in January 2023.
