Oscar Aamodt

Oscar Aamodt is a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and has more than 26 years’ experience in the administration and management of mining and exploration companies in Australia and overseas. Mr Aamodt was a director of the highly successful ASX-listed mining house Independence Group from August 2005 until his resignation in July 2011. He had been chairman since March 2009 until his resignation. Mr Aamodt also served as a non-executive director and chairman of Energy Metals from July 2005 until the completion of a friendly proportional cash takeover by China Guangdong Nuclear Power Corporation in December 2009.
