Nick Houldsworth is the WA market leader of environment at GHD since July 2019.
He has over 22 years of experience providing environmental and sustainability support to major oil and gas, mining and infrastructure projects at every stage of their lifecycle. Mr Houldsworth was the environmental project leader for developing strategy and processes to minimise cost and reduce the risk of non-conformance, and constructing a number of major- and mega-sized projects. He has extensive experience in integrating environmental obligations into project execution, developing and cascading corporate policy, incorporating environmental expectations into procurement processes, and developing environmental management frameworks and systems to drive policy into project delivery and operations. He is also experienced in the field of industrial symbiosis and is a sustainability consultant.
Mr Houldsworth also co-owned a business that developed innovative electronics recycling technology.
He holds a Bachelor of Science (with Honours) in Environmental Science from the University of the West of England.
