Nick Deussen

Nick Deussen is a maritime engineer with Wallbridge & Gilbert Aztec (WGA) and leads the design and construction supervision of mechanical and structural projects across Australia. Whilst his focus has been on maritime and coastal projects, he also has extensive experience in heavy lifting, temporary works and demolition engineering. Mr Deussen has undertaken a number of condition assessments and audits of existing infrastructure, and has advanced skills in the use of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for a broad range of applications including structural design, construction sequencing and failure analysis. He has also undertaken further training in ports and harbour works, corrosion and durability.
