Neil Roberts
Neil Roberts retired from the board at the Bank of Queensland in August 2008, after 21 years as a director including 13 years as chair. During his tenure on the board, he oversaw the introduction of the bank’s first ATMs, the sale of the Queensland Government’s 40 per cent stake in the Bank and its successful transition to an independent public company, and the opening of Bank of Queensland’s first branches outside Queensland.
Mr Roberts spent 37 years as a chartered accountant prior to becoming a company director.
