For almost 30 years, Neil Douglas has practised predominantly in the public law field dealing with constitutional and administrative law issues affecting federal, state and local governments, statutory authorities, agencies and employees. He has extensive experience working in senior positions for the Attorney-General's department in Canberra, the Australian Government Solicitors Office and the Crown Solicitors Office in Perth, covering a wide range of advisory, transactional and litigation work. Prior to joining McLeods as a partner in 2006, Mr Douglas was a partner at Minter Ellison for 16 years and was head of its government, environment and planning group.
