Executive Director, Community Services / City of Albany

Nathan Watson joined the City of Albany in 2015 as manager of communications and events, playing a key role in major event projects such as the Field of Light and Centenary of Armistice to conclude the Anzac Centenary Commemorations. He was appointed executive director of community services in December 2020.

Prior to that, Mr Watson had a 15-year career in regional and suburban media, successfully leading and mentoring teams to become high achievers and establishing strong community and stakeholder relationships. He has also held leadership roles at a local and national level for special-interest groups.
