Natalie Burch is a second-generation member of the Burch Family Wines team, alongside brothers David & Richard. Her professional start in the wine industry came with pouring at events & cellar door, working in the vines & as a general “dogsbody” around the winery.
Though exposed to wine from a young age, Ms Burch focused on the arts with a Degree in Social Science, majoring in History & English. This lead to a Diploma of Education & a position at Margaret River High School.
Ms Burch joined Burch Family Wines in 2005, based at the Margaret River winery, where she worked closely with the bottling, distribution, events, administration, cellar door & winemaking teams before stepping into the position of chief operating officer in 2017. She is a fearless champion of Burch Family Wines' wines & culture, having built up several departments, designed many of its labels & worked with chief winemaker, Janice McDonald, to create the Allingham Chardonnay.
