Murray Thomas has led the MPA Group which consists of the Master Plumbers and Gasfitters Association of WA (MPGA), Master Painters and Decorators Australia and MPA Skills (the industry peak training organisation) for 11 years. In 2011, he was also the first plumbing industry representative to be appointed to the Australian Building Codes Board and continues to represent the industry with the appointment of another 5-year term. Prior to his appointment at the MPGA, Mr Thomas headed up the WA chapter of Tradelink Environmental Solutions. His primary focus was to source, test and implement new products for a complete environmental solution service offering for the retail, building and commercial sectors.
