Mike Ryan

Mike Ryan, who has been Executive Director of StudyPerth since 2004, is a regular commentator and contributor in the media in Australia and overseas. He is also a regular chair or speaker at conferences on international education. In the January 2010 Australia Day Awards, he was awarded the City of Perth Premier’s Australia Day Award for Active Citizenship for his work in raising the profile of Western Australian international education in Australia and overseas. He has twice been the recipient of the International Education Association of Australia (IEAA) Excellence Award for Innovation/Best Practice in International Education in 2012 and 2014. Mr Ryan holds two undergraduate and three postgraduate degrees and has been involved in international education for more than 25 years delivering, writing, managing and marketing academic programs for the higher education, VET, Schools, Study Abroad and ELICOS sectors.
