Michael Wilson is an Australian geologist and mining executive.
Mr Wilson joined Helix Resources 1997 and played major roles at Tunkillia on the Gawler Craton in South Australia; the exploration for gold, platinum group metals and base metals in the Proterozoic Terranes of New South Wales and South Australia; and the Proterozoic and Archaean Terranes in Western Australia. He became Helix's managing director and chief executive in 2007 and stepped down in March 2020 to become general manager of geology, with a focus on rapidly advancing exploration of the Collerina Copper Project in central NSW.
