Michael Shi is a director in the corporate and international tax team with BDO in Perth, bringing over 13 years of combined corporate tax experience through his previous roles in professional services firms, the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and in-house tax functions.
He has extensive experience in corporate tax compliance, specialising in the preparation/review of income tax returns and tax effect accounting, along with strong technical capabilities in inbound/outbound investment advisory, funding advice and mergers & acquisitions.
Mr Shi provides professional taxation services to a broad range of clients with a particular focus on multinational corporations and the energy and resources sector.
