Melinda Hunter is an experienced corporate lawyer and governance professional with over 20 years of experience.

Ms Hunter joined AGL in 2017 and has been a general counsel and company secretary of AGL Energy since July 2022. Prior to AGL, she had worked in top tier law firms specialising in mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and advisory.

Ms Hunter holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws from Macquarie University, and is admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
