Megan Brown has over 15 years of experience with the Big 4 firms and provides accounting services, complex taxation advice & compliance services, and business advisory services to private & public groups across a broad range of industries. She specialises in acting for privately-owned enterprises, family groups and high net-worth individuals in all areas of tax including tax planning, trusts and Division 7A.
Ms Brown established Nouvell Consulting in March 2006. Prior to that, she was a key member of the Ernst & Young private client services leadership team in Perth. Ms Brown was appointed a financial controller of the Master Builders Association of WA in July 2022, and will be interim executive director from September 2023 until the new chief executive commences in January 2024.
Ms Brown is a Chartered Accountant and Tax Practitioner with a double major in Accounting and Finance. She had spent some time studying abroad on an academic scholarship at Jonkoping International Business School in Sweden; and has a Certificate in Family Business Advising, as part of the Family Firm Institute’s Global Education Network.
