Matthew Swindells

Matthew Swindells has over 20 years of experience in the retail sector.

Mr Swindells commenced his career with Coles in 2004 and has held various senior management positions across supply chain and merchandise including as general manager of supply chain, meat, deli and seafood. He was also chief executive of Tasman Meats, a large format private equity-owned meat retailer, before returning to Coles in July 2017 as a supply chain director and as chief operating officer in July 2019.

Mr Swindells graduated from the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. The program covered complex challenges of strategy, digital transformation and global leadership.
