Matthew Montano joined Strike Energy as chief financial officer and company secretary in January 2017. He elected not to transfer with the company as it relocates its headquarters from Sydney to Adelaide in August 2017. Mr Montano is a chartered accountant with extensive experience in financial management across ASX-listed, multinational and private equity specialising in business transformation, capital management and mergers and acquisitions. He was chief financial officer and company secretary of the franchise group, LJ Hooker, achieving business and revenue growth, overseeing the successful sale of the business, subsequent debt refinancing and project team to take LJ Hooker to an Initial Public Offering. Prior to LJ Hooker, Mr Montano held various financial, commercial and senior management positions at GPT and Intercontinental Hotels Group.
