Matthew McCann

Matthew McCann has extensive corporate experience and a deep knowledge of the US oil and gas industry. He spent over 24 years in various roles including as chief executive, senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary of public-listed (NYSE and TSX) and private companies.

Mr McCann was instrumental in growing TransAtlantic Petroleum from a junior explorer to a significant international oil and gas producer.

He has substantial knowledge and experience in US capital markets, acquisitions, corporate strategy, and building shareholder value.

He holds a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the University of Oklahoma - College of Law, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Vermont.
