Mary McComish

Mary McComish OAM is a barrister in the Supreme Court of Western Australia and had been associate professor of Law at The University of Notre Dame for 10 years. She was Dean of Law at The University of Notre Dame from 2005 until her retirement in 2007 and director of Daydawn Advocacy Centre from 2013 to 2016, an initiative of the Catholic Church in the Archdiocese of Perth on behalf of Aboriginal people.

In 2023, Ms McComish was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia for service to tertiary education, and to the community.
