Martin Ralston holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from Monash University and has been involved in the information technology sector since 1970.
Over the span of his career, he has worked in various roles with BHP Billiton, Computer Accounting Services and Accenture (previously Andersen Consulting) with whom he became a partner in 1985. During his tenure with Accenture, Mr Ralston held several senior management positions including managing partner of technology competence, managing partner of government services, and managing partner of business outsourcing.
Mr Ralston retired from Accenture in August 2001. He is vice chair of the Moonee Valley Racing Club, non-executive chair of Transol Corporation and board member of Hawthorn Football Club.
