Martin Buckingham had over 40 years of experience in the resource industries. He was a director and held senior management positions with various mining companies in the UK and overseas.
Mr Buckingham held roles at Clogau Gold Mines, as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Atlas Consolidated Mining & Development Corp (Philippines), director of Carmen Copper Corporation, director and co-founder of Consort Research which is a metallurgical consultancy group based at the Royal School of Mines in London. In 2007, he took a lead role in the consortium which successfully re-opened the Carmen Copper Mine in Cebu, Philippines.
Mr Buckingham was a founder of Anleck Limited, a private UK company that owns (through various subsidiaries) a suite of copper-gold projects in the Philippines.
He passed away in November 2022.
