Marten Tieleman

Marten Tieleman is an experienced local government professional with a Bachelor in Accounting from Curtin University.

He was the financial services manager at the City of Melville from June 1991 to March 1994 before re-joining the council in March 2002 as director of corporate services and as chief executive from November 2018 to November 2023. Mr Tieleman also spent over 9 years at the City of Perth in various positions including as an accountant, and 8 years as the director of corporate services at Darwin City Council.
