Mark Williams, a legal expert in the areas of insurance and medical negligence, joins MinterEllison as partner in December 2016. Mr Williams has over 23 years’ experience in the special insurance sector, focussing on professional indemnity, public and product liability, insurance coverage, regulation on health practitioners, and clinical governance in hospitals and other healthcare facilities. Mr Williams was partner at DLA Piper Australia, a career spanning 23 years, during which he appeared as counsel in the District and Supreme Courts of WA, State Administrative Tribunal, Court of Appeal, and High Court of Australia.
