Mark Sweetingham
Dr Mark Sweetingham PSM has more than 34 years of experience at the former Department of Agriculture and Food where he was involved in the state and national grains industry.
He is internationally recognised for his work in crop protection, farming systems, crop genetics and plant biosecurity.
Throughout his career, Dr Sweetingham has led state and nationally significant research and innovation activities in partnership with industry and agribusiness.
In 2022, Dr Sweetingham was awarded a Public Service Medal for outstanding public service to scientific research and development of the grains industry in Western Australia.
